Structural Customization
Cool Innovations has developed the technology necessary to provide complete structural customization.
Our technology enables us to customize our product offerings to any desired footprint or height on next day basis, without any tooling charges.
Footprint - Square, rectangular, round and any other odd shapes are feasible.
Height – UltraCool heat sinks can be trimmed to any desired height between 0.18” to 2.00”. (The standard tolerance zone is +0.000”, -0.0020”.)
Multiple pin heights- UltraCool heat sinks can be modified to having multiple pin heights on a single heat sink. This procedure is generally suitable for boards that are constrained by multiple height restrictions. (e.g. Daughter boards or single components on neighboring boards, in multi-card applications.)
Pin configurations – Non standard pin diameters and pin densities are available for application-specific requirements. Custom pin configurations are generally offered for applications that possess very low-speed air and for applications that operate in the natural convection mode.
